DOCG wines: Central Italy

Il Centro (eng. Central Italy) is formed by the regions Lazio, Marche, Tuscany and Umbria. All four regions together have a total of 21 DOCG wines, not counting sub-classifications.
Central Italy offers some of Italy’s most well-known wines including Brunello di Montalcino, Frascati Superiore, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Verdicchio di Matelica.
