I saw that Planeta Cerasuolo in a store yesterday…couldn’t get myself to forking out the money (cannot remember how much it was, but seemed too much…what’s new in the US?).

I checked my review and saw that I bought it for just 12€ back when I had it. The wine prices in the US are crazy. Planeta’s Cerasuolo di Vittoria is really a good wine..

I think it was around $20, so probably appropriately priced. We just bought way too much wine lately, so I was not willing to spend that much on a bottle.

If you stumble on the wine again and have the cash to buy it then give it a try. For 2€ more there is the Planeta Dorilli Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico DOCG available which is very good, too.

I’ve tried to find Planeta in the US for a while. Where did you see it? Online? Usually the shipping is too high for my wallet..

I agree, I never buy wine online in the States. Their shipping costs are insane. I saw it at Plum Market. They should be all over the country, no?

Sardinia makes so much wine – they really deserve more than 1 docg! Especially for their fantastic cannonau wines
