Tonight and tomorrow millions of people around the globe will celebrate Christmas.Whether you celebrate the traditional way or go for the more secular route I hope that you have a great time with your family and friends.
Now I am not really religious but Christmas offers the perfect opportunity for a nice get-together! Uncork something good and enjoy the evening! In my Christmas wine recommendations post I told you that I was going to settle for Amarone tonight. Plan has changed and it’s going to be a 1995 Agriverde Plateo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC as well as 2005 Plateo. I’ll have the tasting notes for the 1995 up in the next days. Read here about the 2005 Plateo which I’ve previously reviewed.
In Munich, Germany this year Christmas is quite weird. We’ve the warmest Christmas that has ever been recorded in this city with temperatures as high as 15°C (59° F). Usually we have temperatures below 0° C (32°F) this time of the year and we already had snow. It’s quite strange and it feels much more like March or April right now. Just thought I point that out. That said I wish you a Merry Christmas!
